Volunteer at Narryna

Volunteering at Narryna is a great way to meet new people and contribute to your community through supporting Narryna, its conservation and interpretation and dynamic museum education programs. We value the contribution of our volunteer ‘family‘ and appreciate the skills and knowledge individual volunteers bring to their work.

Narryna engages front-of-house volunteers to take on guiding roles and to support school education programs. These roles are perfect for anyone interested in working in tourism and those who want to share their passion for Tasmania’s history.

If you are a keen gardener, join the Friends of Narryna Garden group and help to enhance the beautiful grounds.

Interested in events? Narryna holds a range of events throughout the year and volunteers play a key role in their success. We encourage events and functions volunteers to gain experience in guiding so that they can share this knowledge with visitors.

We also have a range of ongoing projects for those interested in cataloguing, transcription or research.

Please complete the form below to join the Narryna volunteer team.

NOTE: Narryna is currently looking for garden volunteers to help support our kitchen garden.
